Thank you for helping us care for you this winter.
Vaccination is the most important thing you can do to protect your community against serious illnesses. When enough people get vaccinated, it’s harder for a disease to spread to those who can’t have vaccines.
We know many people are interested in the COVID-19 vaccination and want to assure you that we are working through a priority list set by the Department of Health. Please do not contact your GP about getting the vaccine. We will contact patients in order of priority.
The GPs based in Omagh Hospital and Primary Care Centre are committed to providing care throughout the current Coronavirus threat. From Friday 13th March, in order to protect the patients and staff all appointments in all GP Practices and the Treatment Room are postponed until further notice. Do NOT COME to any of the GP surgeries without phoning the Practice first; you need to have been contacted by the Practice in advance to come to the Practice. Should you need urgent medical attention please phone your GP practice. The Practice remains open during normal opening hours. If you have booked an appointment at the Treatment Room all appointments for bloods and injections are also postponed. Patients with wounds please phone 02882835525. If you need advice about a blood test contact your GP practice. Doctors will be available for urgent medical advice and will see patients as needed after telephone assessments. These measures are necessary to ensure that the facility stays open. All prescriptions will be available at pharmacies for collection do not come to GP reception desks. We hope to resume normal service ASAP.
If you are concerned about Coronavirus (COVID 19) and have flu like symptoms with a cough and temperature, please stay at home. DO NOT COME TO THE PRACTICE.
